The Lakeside Resort is a Trout Creek motel lodging located on Montana's Hwy 200, with water frontage on the Clark Fork River. Come and experience a wide variety of adventures, explorations and outdoor activities. Family vacations in Northwest Montana, Glacier and Yellowstone National Parks, Montana State Parks and public access trails are available all year around and offer a number of seasonal sports.

In Spring, Summer and Fall you will find Forestry Trails for ATV's, off-road driving, Mountain biking, Camping and Hiking. These same access roads become Groomed Snowmobile trials that run for miles among the Cabinet Mountains in the Winter months. You may choose to hire local Outfitters who offer Horse Rentals, Guided Camping, Fishing and Hunting trips or just ask our friendly staff for vacation suggestions when you are making your reservations.

At the Lakeside Resort, Trout Creeks' local businesses rent summer water crafts such as Sailboats, Jet Ski's, Canoe's and Kayaks for use on the River or you can bring your own. Our unique location which is both on the waterfront and in the center of Trout Creek, Montana, has made us the motel of choice among many family's, hunters and fishermen. Within yards of Trout Creek's watercraft ramp and our private dock that is within walking distance of your rental cabin door, you won't find a most peaceful outdoor vacation spot in Northwest Montana.

We encourage guests to enjoy our resort's unique features that include a private waterfront commons area which is large enough that part of it can be reserved for outdoor weddings, family reunions or corporate business retreats. Each rental cabin has it's own gas BBQ with several more along the commons area for our motel guests. We also offer a Fire pit, ample space for volleyball/badmitten nets, picnic tables and a private boat dock on the Clark Fork River. In every vacation rental cabin, Jacuzzi suite and motel room you will find color TV's with Free Satellite (HBO-Disney, etc.) and we have a library of DVD movies and players available for rental in our Lakeside gift shop. Our private Wi-Fi Internet access provides those with a laptop the ability to stay in touch with the office without missing out on all the fun outdoor lawn activities. There is also a full self-serve Laundromat on the resort.

Montana's Northwest towns of Trout Creek and Thompson Falls is home to The Cabinet Ridge Riders Snowmobiling Club, a well known group of local Winter enthusiasts. This community of Snowmobilers along with the help from Montana's State Forestry Service and the local ATV Club members, maintain miles of groomed trails and offer Snowmobiling adventures suitable for any ability level and preference - and just minutes from your cabin door. Cross Country Skiers and Snowshoe trekkers can enjoy backcountry adventures on the many trails open all winter long which are just minutes from our Western Montana Lodge.
